I had started with Move One and I have to admit...it wasn't great when it launched. The animation was super jittery. Good for background characters and simple animations (like cheering or gestures) but that' s it…

Frequently Asked Questions About AI Motion Capture

What is AI motion capture?

AI motion capture uses computer vision and machine-learning models to estimate human movement from video and convert it into 3D animation data. Unlike traditional optical capture, it does not require reflective markers or a dedicated multi-camera studio.

How does QuickMagic turn a video into 3D motion?

Upload a supported video, select the subject and capture options, and let QuickMagic estimate movement frame by frame. You can then preview the result and export an available animation format for further editing in your 3D software.

What type of video gives the best results?

Use clear footage with the subject visible, adequate lighting, limited motion blur, and minimal long-term occlusion. Full-body framing is recommended for full-body capture. Complex floor contact, fast spins, or close interaction between people may require additional cleanup.

Does QuickMagic support hand and facial motion?

QuickMagic provides body, hand, and facial-motion options for supported workflows. The amount of usable detail depends on image quality, hand and face visibility, motion blur, and the selected output workflow.

Can QuickMagic capture more than one person?

QuickMagic supports multi-subject workflows for suitable footage. For better results, keep each person visible and avoid prolonged overlap or leaving the frame. Confirm the current subject limit in the product interface.

Can I use footage from a moving camera?

Moving-camera footage is supported for selected workflows, but camera shake, rapid viewpoint changes, and occlusion can reduce stability. Use the appropriate tracking mode and review global movement before export.

Which export formats and 3D tools are supported?

QuickMagic supports FBX and a range of workflow-specific export presets for popular 3D tools. Available formats vary by plan and product version. See the Export Formats page for the current compatibility table.

Is QuickMagic free?

QuickMagic offers a free plan for trying AI motion capture. Current limits, export formats, queue priority, video length, storage, and paid-plan features are listed on the Pricing page.

How long does processing take?

Processing time varies with video length, resolution, selected features, queue load, and plan priority. The product interface shows the current job status.

Can I use QuickMagic motion commercially?

Commercial-use rights depend on the plan and on the rights you hold to the uploaded footage, characters, audio, and other source materials. Review the current User Agreement before using generated assets in commercial work.

How long are uploaded files and generated assets stored?

The current Pricing page lists 15-day asset storage for the Free plan and ongoing account storage for paid plans. Storage and data-retention rules are also described in the Privacy Policy.

Can QuickMagic generate motion for humanoid robots?

QuickMagic provides motion-reference workflows and presets for selected humanoid robot models. Check the Robot Motion Data page for supported robots, joint definitions, coordinate systems, and current limitations.
